This Privacy Policy describes how AutoExpense ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use AutoExpense at https://autoexpense.site (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
When you use the Service, we may collect:
- Google account information — name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in with Google.
- Forwarded email content — messages you auto-forward to your personal inbound address (bank alerts, receipts, payment confirmations). We do not access your mailbox via the Gmail API.
- Expense data — merchant names, amounts, dates, categories, and summaries extracted from forwarded emails that match your trusted senders.
- Account & subscription data — plan tier, usage limits, and billing status. Payment card details are processed by Lemon Squeezy.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and session cookies.
2. How we use information
- Authenticate you and maintain your session
- Receive and parse emails you forward to your inbound address
- Extract and organize expense records using automated processing
- Provide dashboards, exports, and subscription features
- Process payments and protect the Service against abuse
3. Google sign-in
We use Google OAuth only to authenticate your identity (name, email, profile picture). We do not request Gmail mailbox scopes.
4. How we share information
We share information only with Google (sign-in and Analytics), Lemon Squeezy (billing), Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (database), and OpenRouter (AI parsing). We do not sell your personal information.
5. Your choices
Rotate your inbound address in Settings if needed. Revoke Google sign-in anytime in your Google Account permissions. Contact [email protected] to access or delete your data.
